My mom focused on value and quality. In patterns, the fabric patterns should match and flow seamlessly. When they do not it means shortcuts were taken to save money in the construction. She made shoes and educated me about the structure, leathers and other materials used in good shoes and handbags.
Tailor your clothing for proper fit and ease of movement.
Buy workhorse classics and update with trendy accessories (jewelry etc.)
Never buy cheap shoes because your feet are the foundation for your entire body.

Maintain good posture while sitting, standing and walking. Wear ladylike lingerie to preserve modesty and remain feminine.

Right on. What you’re looking for are the simplest ingredients. Multi-combination ingredients are what cause lots of allergic reactions. For example, mineral oil as a pure make-up remover; glycerin soap rinsing well, simple lotions.

No problem! Brown hair and eyes are rich and beautiful. Black, white and brown create an exciting and sophisticated looking color scheme. I see what you’re saying, can you subsitute fuchsia or lemon for your personal brown…of course you “could”, but the effect won’t be as harmonious and beautiful. Beyond that point, simply add your hair color to any current fashion color scheme. Brown and fuchsia, lemon yellow, royal blue, emerald green, fantastic.

Thank you Judith for the excellent post. I found it very helpful to realize how effective repeating my coloring could be. A question? I have both brown hair and eyes, am I limited to brown or can I also incorporate or substitute my personal accent color? Say fushia or lemon yellow which are both great on me.
